Default In the MEANTIME...

Hey guys! Haven't posted in a while, sorry! Managing a snowboard shop leaves little time in winter to think of much else but waxing boards! I see there's a lot of interest in a local ride here and I JUST posted this notice on the Motorbicycling.com and Spookytooth.com.

Let's rally- no cream puffs boys and girls, we're Northwesterners, Rain and cold are our Bread and Beer around here! Slap on a fender and bring a slicker just in case and let's ride some bikes!

Okay Northwest Riders! The NW Riquimbili Riders are hosting the first of several rides we have planned for this coming season on Saturday, February 14th, in Downtown Seattle. It is a Motorbike specific ride, but if you have a Wifey or Old Lady, OR Homie who does not have his/her own MB, but rides a scooter, or moped they are most welcome to ride as well!

We will gather at Sports X (2232 15th Ave W, Seattle WA 98119) at 5pm, leave for the cruise around 5:30-5:45 and cruise through Belltown, Downtown, the Waterfront, and on over to Alki to cruise the strip. We'll stop at a spot or two to check bikes, get snacks, and hang out. This will be a casual paced ride open to all. Electric bikes happily welcomed as well.

We are hoping for a strong turnout for this, our inaugural ride! Come show us your MB's and ride with friends! None left behind, none left broken down! Let's start a tradition of regular Seattle area rides! Repost this notice anywhere you think it would be welcome please!

email me, Steve at: mrstreetmeat@gmail.com with questions or for more information.

Hope to see lots of you there!

seattle isn't out of my range, i'm so pumped for some long-distance...but i can't be ready by the 14th. you CAN count on me to roll in sometime this spring, tho...i have several visits overdue in yer area. y'outta start your own topic here, too...trust me, these things grow with a lot of perseverance & a bit of faith

meantime....are there any updates to the spring-run? where, etc?

it is hard to believe that the nw could have a large gettogether because of our weather. it would be fine to show the group that our moldy bunch of misfits want to show our colors, afterall akvan made the trip last summer and loved the whole thing. yes we can!
