i just got a blower the other day... it is a paulan pro bmv200. ok, this thing has been used once then left in storage for 3 years, so my dad gives it to me cause he cant get it started after putting in a new spark plug. so i take it home, take off everything that has to do with blowing air and there i have just the engine. so i put in some new gas i push the little bubble thingy 10 times (twice the amount, gas poured out...) after 15 strong pulls the thing fires up at top speed, freaks me out, then stalls, later after 4 or 5 starts and runs, i finally get to the point where it starts in three pulls. the engine is only 25cc's but has excellent compression and works hard.

Is there any way i could make a rack mount chain drive setup for a bike with this engine because it is in mint shape and is a waste just sitting on my work bench. PICTURES COMING SOON!

    pleast post reply, jon

as Ive read... 50cc is really optimal for bikes and gokarts (weak ones), but I have seen weedwhacker bikes. It would be possible to mount it and make it work, but don't exepct too much from the little enigne :D

Just keep in mind that you have to stop, so the drive shaft will have to be disconnected from the wheel or stop the belt or chain from spinning, one idea is-you can get a motorscooter clutch and weld a grippy shaft rather than the stock gear for a friction drive, or run it with a chain going down.
I think the friciton drive would be best because if you add a gear ratio to it, you won't get any speed or torque. :D Just my 2 cents

    here's some examples

Thanks, i know i wont be poppin wheelies or burning out with this thing but it would be a fun project. i cant load the vids yet but a tork converter would be a good idea, does anyone have any idea where to get clutch small enough for this thing, no need for a dortbike or go cart clutch but maybe some kind of centrifugal clutch, idk... something cheap.

    please sheare your idea, jon

lol, thats a good one jerry... so yesterday i go home, im workin on putting on my bike chain and i get bored. so i bring the motor out to fire it up. once again 3 pulls and boom its running. unfortunately i topped out the engine and broke the holding piece for the spinny thingy that has the magnets and fan thingy...whatever its called... anyway now that i have to buy a new piece i havbe plenty of time to think of ideas

thanks for the help everyone, jon
