How hard would it be to build a 26" front wheel with a freewheeling pedal assembly on it?

Or better yet...

Where would I find one online?

This would be for a motorized recumbent idea I have so a one speed pedal assembly would be ok.

Any thoughts on how or where to accomplish this?

 Maybe a front hand-pedal chainring assembly from a recumbent would work. Then you could install an internal hub, 3-speed or more. Hopefully, you won't need to spread the front fork, but it's do-able.

I seem to remember seeing a recumbent three-wheeler with an internal 3-speed hub a few months ago...

Edit: No, it was the Triton. (I thought they USED to offer a three-speed, though...)
