Just curious about the potential benefits, and shortcomings, of switching the stock 22mm carb with one of the 26mm designs...
A little math shows a potential 40% more airflow, but a bigger carb may not generate enough air speed (vacuum) to pull fuel up the metering circuit at idle or low engine speeds. Maybe it's only use is on a heavily modified bike that allows for for airflow overall (modified head/exhaust manifold/cam, etc.)
Or maybe it can and results in too much horsepower for the bike to be licensed as a "Moped" in most states.
