Hey guys,

Recently I got myself a 3d printer and am having lots of fun printing things out.
I am wondering if 3D printing would have a use in this hobby.
I know your printing in plastic, but there are many new filaments coming out everyday with different properties as soft like rubber, or super strong plastics. Strong enough now that the anarchist are now printing firearms which do not damage after the first or few shots, the tests are impressive.
Are there any other 3d printer users out there?

You can 3D print a sweet custom gastank, make some cool shrouds that connect to your frame to direct airflow through your engine, maybe something to hold a gauge cluster and your headlight with a little windscreen. 3D printers can be used for almost anything. There are industrial 3D printers that can print metals, ceramic, even tissues (think: organ transplants...or steak!). I'm pretty sure there are already existing cad files for some of what I've mentioned that can be modified to your tastes.
