    I'm currently working on my 1st MB, progress can be found here http://www.motoredbikes.com/showthread.php?t=21169

    And just today I noticed that the sticker on the side of the chinese 2 stroke engines says "Engine Displacement: 68.5CC".

    Now is the engine really 48CC but the sticker was a mistake or is it really 68.5CC?

    measure cylinder.
    48= 40mm X 38mm
    somewhere there is the simple formula you need to get actual size.
    Search cylinder size.

    I'm pretty sure that the sticker is incorrect.

    My 49cc from Powerking (Zoom) had the same sticker (68.5cc). I contacted the company and they told me that I had a 49cc despite what my sticker said.

  4. sometimes the larger engines are cheaper and the places that sell them give you what they have in stock and send you what ever they want. and what do you think the sticker is there for. there going to tell you what you want to hear.
    i took a look at your pictures and the engine you have on your bikes looks like the larger one,it really does look like a 66cc(80),you can tell by the jug size which in the pictures its larger than a 48cc(50).

    48-50cc engines have 6mm studs and ~41mm spacing between studs.

    66-80cc engines (generally) have 8mm studs and ~45mm spacing between studs to accomodate the larger bore.

    So get your ruler out and you can tell without removing the head and measuring the bore.
