i have an 80cc king motor that i have been riding for over a year now.
with winter approaching and the days getting shorter, i'd like to
add some real lights to the bike. I currently use a blinking led
head light and red blinking led taillight. these are great for making
me more visible, but they do very little at lighting the road ahead of
me. Some of the roads i scoot on have little or no streetlights.
i tried to wire a headlight to the lighting coil wire that is provided, but
that killed the motor.
i'd rather not carry a battery that i need to recharge.
my question is...
is there any way to add a real lighting coil to the motor? I'd
love to run a 35 watt halogen headlight. and a simple tailight
that i can turn on after the sun has set.
