Will it be hard to adjust the carb? How do we know what is best?

Thinking of going with the huffy cranbrook, I hope I'm happy. I'm hoping I can mount it up okay, and don't have too many problems.

Wondering if I should get a spring chain tensioner or not?

Really am looking forward to getting one going

NT style carb is easy - others, not so much

I don't like spring tensioners, but some folks do.

I'm amazed we can get them to idle at all with an NT carb since it doesn't even have an idle circuit.

I would recommend warming engine up fully, then dial in the idle. after break in you probably need smaller jet and lower the needle. I used 16g steel shims at the engine on rear mount to set chain and got rid of the chain tensioner all together. my path is good and have had not chain issues in a 100 miles.
