So I have just drilled a hole into the casing of my air filter, (on the back of it) I am pretty sure that I have gained some speed from this. It seems to work very well. Anyways I just thought I would post what I did and what it seemed to do. Has anyone else done this as well?

Yep I've done this too, It seems to have a better noise too. Would definetely recomend doing it, dont drill the top though as you dont want water leaking in.

i did this little trick as well fell a little bit better.... so i agree... but funny thing... i tryed to starv the engine of air to see if i had leaks and the engine didnt even act like anything was wrong... i think these stock plastic air filters are **** but blah... im looking into getting something new but cant find any good links
