so I first removed the foam in the stock filter and replaced with rain sock material, and then drilled extra holes in the housing (the black nt one). now I have removed the housing and put a steel ring I had kicking around , and stuck the rain sock material to the black grid disc that comes with the carb.

how it looks
the engine seems to love it, it's basically wide open. so right now the set up is;
70 jet
needle 2nd notch down
crank case matched
intake skirt cut
exhaust gasket and pipe port matched
poo poo pipe
100:1 amsoil saber (waiting on my opti-2 to arrive)
I'm just over 200lbs and hitting 37mph with a 44T, she is running very well.
