ape hangers

i got som e ape hangers.and cant seem to get them tight enough.to keep from moving.any ideas to keep from moving.and im using standard schwinn syle neck

They do sell shims that go between the handlebars and the neck.If your bars do not have the raised area like a standard Schwinn bar you will need 2 shims.
