Sprockets Big big bevel gear removal

If i want to replace just the big bevel gear and not buy the whole clutch assembly, how do i remove the outer bearing race? I see that you can buy each piece of the clutch individualy. So it must all come apart. I can't tell if the outer race threads into the inner race or it's a press-fit kind of thing. I was surprised to find no information on the disassembly of the clutch other than removing the whole thing from the bike and adjustments. Does anyone know?

did that once to see what was inside - put it back together and it worked - will never do that again

it is press fit with 57 loose, tiny, bearings inside - took a couple hours with a press (similar to a freewheel)

new assy on ebay is in the $14 to $20 range (some come with pads)

Thank you for the heads up. I just ordered a while new one. For the price it doesnt sound like it was worth the headache.
