Chains bike rolls backwards

bike rolls backwards but when u move it foreward it goes a foot and then gets jammed. anyone know why? the tension on the top part is greater when moved back but its real saggy when it moves forewards

Are you holding the clutch lever in?

yes and no. the bike should still roll with the clutch lever out so the engine turns over. so im trying to get it to go forward and it just jams up. if i release the clutch and drive it backwards it moves freely and the engine turns over. just not forward it jams up.

maybe its the tensioner not linging up

It will only roll forward with the clutch out if you remove the spark plug.

If you leave the spark plug in and the clutch out the rear wheel will skid
and lock.

I gotta see some pics of your problem bike.

its all good now. anyone know why i lost so much power? it doesn't accelerate as fast and it slows down a lot more as well fast. seems something is touching something and slowing it down

should i post on another thread?
