I picked up a Prostrobe LED red side marker light that is approximately 2 1/4 by 1 3/4 inch and has 6, 1 watt LEDs in it. The LED's are arranged in an X fashion and strobe at 1 second intervals and are aggravatingly bright up close. I think they are the perfect rear light for a bike. Will run on 12-30 volts DC.
I see that Pep Boys has them on sale for $12.10. I'll bet the stores will sell out quick.
