broken plug wire

So head bolt snaps I replace all four go to start it no spark so I pull off plug wire and it breaks right where the spark plug cap and the wire meet! Anyway to reconnect it?

Yes replace the wire. The wires just screws in to the CDI and the plug cap if you have that style cap.

or replace the cap if wire is still long enough

If the wire broke that easy I would replace the whole wire.

I spliced wire where boot was put wire on spark plug now I get no spark! Did I do something wrong here?

Did you use a torque wrench to tighten your head back on?
Or just do it by 'Feel'?

Chances are your problem is directly related to changing the jug bolts.
