I searched for a how to, and perhaps my searching skills aren't as good as my 'gotta-get-er-going' skills.

Thing is, I am remote. Only thing I could find to immediately get things running was a brake cable/sleeve. I used up some of my jewelry soldering supplies and it works while I wait weeks for the throttle cable on order.

Nice.
What I do to keep the throttle cable from failing is putting a throttle stop on my throttle.
You can pull it down as hard as you can and there's still a little slack on the cable so
there's never too much pressure on it.

thanks Large Filipino, my throttle cable was completely seized, rusty, frayed, broken, etc...had to get something working...good idea to make a stop now too. Thanks!
