OK that was the wrong engine, HV is probably correct.

My quick take: they're misidentifying that engine in the first post.

I've worked on a 49cc Huasheng and it's a copy of the Honda GXH50.

OK lets suppose your wrong. That would be a neat F/D motor and HS has a decent reputation. The only 4 stroke 49cc choices we have now are the Honda and HS142f and they sit kind of high. If this motor is correct it would sit low and be a nicer look. Probably be had at a decent price too, hope your wrong HV.

It wouldn't be the first time and probably won't be the last either ;-)

It could be a new config on the 49 I guess, 11cc wouldn't be that hard to reconfig bore/stroke.
I suppose one could ask that scooter guy to verify, no?

BTW, the bgf listing sure does look like the 142F to me though.

That is NOT a 49 cc 4 stroke.

It's a 31cc 4 stroke and a copy of Honda's discontinued GX 31 cc

Yes, they made a mistake and said it was a 2 stroke even though
it is in their 4 stroke series engines.

PS: I have a Honda GX 31
