Engine Trouble can't get bike to idle,Richard

hello guys hope this time am in the right place. Installed a 80cc engine last week brought
engine from luckyearlybird, installation went fine,but couldnot get a standing idle. I read a few post and did what they said, INSTALL O RINGS-MKE SURE BARREL IN CARB SLIDES
UP AND DOWN.Still when i pull clutch handle in rpms are so high am affraid that i might
cause other problems.can anyone help or direct me as to wht to look for.

Have you adjusted the idle screw on the left hand side of the carb? If that doesn't work it could be a bad seal on the intake gasket which is letting in too much air and causing the high idle.
