carb and piston orientaion

    I'd like to switch the carb around to mount the
    piston upright as to allow an easier mount.
    Can I run the engine as pictured?

    As long as the carburetor is level, you can run the engine in any position. It's one of the advantages of two stroke engines.

    Thanks, I changed bikes from a mountain bike to a more laid back chopper.
    The frame is smaller. I'll get pics of the frame as soon as I can get the webcam moved.
    It's a really nice engine... too nice to sell.

    Those water cooled pocket bike motors screeeeeeem! Sounds like a really great project you got going.

    Yea, this chopper is gonna scream alright.
    It's an easier mount then the bike I started with.
