Carby Carb issue

I have a Tanaka TC 47R. I pulled the carb apart and cleaned it after it sat for awhile. Now when I pull start it raw fuel pumps out the exhaust. Any idea how I can fix this? Thank you.

Better check your float! Sounds like it is stuck, and WAY flooded ! Hope this helps. Ken. Keep looking up!

I had this problem on my Chinese 49cc motor a few months back. The carburetors on those Chinese 4 stroke engines aren't designed very well, the float in particular. I know from experience. I ended up swapping it for an NT carburetor from a 2 stroke kit. Don't know if it would work for your Tanaka engine though, but if it uses a 15mm carburetor manifold it might fit with an adapter.
