chainsaw motor

    Check this out peeps how get oil to motor i broke down a craftman 40cc motor and I'm trying to put on my 72 Schwinn i know I'm too fab, can i use metal or aluminum for my Magneto.

    What i'm trying to say is i broke down a craftman 40cc chainsaw motor out case and trying a way to keep oil in it on the cover there is something for that
    I don't want to use the cover .And i would like know can i us aluminum or metal to mount the Magneto.

    more than likely it is a TWO STROKE ENGINE THAT TAKES PRE MIXED PETROIL. i only think theres one 4 stroke chainsaw ever produced commercially...

    the oil tank on a chainsaw is for the CHAIN. completely unnecessary for your purposes.

    aluminium IS metal.

    aluminium is hard to join if you aint got the right welder. you can use pop rivets. they hold jumbo jets together ;)

    steel is easy to weld but not so easy to bend.
