I was tooling around the interwebs (thanks Al Gore!) and came across this old picture....

    whizzer1.jpg

Now, that is an old school custom Whizzer! Modified frame, bobbed fenders, no pedals, custom echo can exhaust, low seat....
Judging by the cars in the background, picture was taken sometime in late 50's early 60's.

Just thought it was a cool pic and wanted to share....

Looks like a Schwinn crossed with a Whizzer Ambassador [rear brake, seat, & front forks].

    Have fun,

Cool Whizzer pic. I believe that's a 56 Ford in the background.

I think the Ford behind the Whizzer is a 1955 [round turn signals in the grill, 56 had wide signals], and the Ford in the rear looks to be a '49, '50, 0r '51 [my first car was a '50 Ford].

But the star of the picture is of course The Whizzer.

    Have fun,

  5. I came across this pic a few months ago and thought it was pretty awesome as well. And as an owner of a chopped '50 Ford Shoebox Club Coupe, I can confirm by the hood trim that the Shoebox in the picture is most likely a '50 as well.

I wonder if there is anymore info regarding this bike?
