ok.... just this one, in particular.
I took this photo with my phone at 8:30, Monday evening.
That's an impressive photo
South Eastern Australian Sky at my place from some months ago at around 6:30pm
The first photo was kind of spooky as i've never seen a cloud so low and the sunset reflecting so strongly that it bathed everything in brilliant crimson light; almost like wind currents forced it down to 100 feet - was low enough to run outside in a state of panic, desperately fumbling around with my camera to try and get a photo.
The second photo had the sunset somehow punching a hole in the cloud - great opportunity which only lasted minutes.
As with most photography, the pics can't truly reflect the amazing experience.
Thats a nice photo!
Excellent idea for a thread! This one's from a trip over your way Fabian, in the Grampians, VIC. We were on top of one of the biggest mountains there - floating in the clouds!
Great photo Anton
I must admit that the Grampians is quite a special location - wouldn't mind taking the motorized bicycle up through there when the Australian summer comes around.
This photo was taken in Melbourne's outer eastern suburb of Ferntree Gully.
Rarely do i pull up the patrol car and take a photo, but this was one of those times!
Nice photo! Hang on wait patrol car? You're a policeman?
I work for a living; a policeman i am not.
I'm involved in security patrol work of which 8/10'th of the job is PR with clients.
Glenfern Rd in Lysterfield, in the state of Victoria, Australia
srdavo, it looks like a cloud covered UFO
I took this two days ago-
That looks sensational!
Sunset at Rowville in Victoria, Australia
Caught these while taking pics of an oncoming haboob, fun dirt chewing night. The frayed edge of the clouds look like the edge of a UFO.
That's an interesting cloud formation.
