clutch cable

Can you use a brake cable for a clutch cable? I have two long brake cables that I would like to use it it will work. I have a chopper style bike.

usually, brake cables are a bit thinner, but they will work for quite a while before they break

Thanks for the info. So they should hold till clutch cable comes in.
