Clutch not working now?

Hi all this is my first post i have a 50cc engine kit that i purchased a while ago and everything seemed to be going all right until the bolts in the front mount snapped ( i added a stronger reinforced u bolt and 4mm steel plate) so i couldnt start it because when i let the clutch out the motor jumped around like an excited school girl lol, anyway i took the whole motor off to see what thread bolt i needed when i took the motor off clutch was working and now i pull it in and it does nothing wheel wont move. when i first pulled the clutch lever after putting the motor back on it was really tight and then i pulled it and the lever snapped back and its quite loose now. cable hasnt snapped and it still moves the arm thing over the same ammount as it did pls help

Did the bearing fall out? There's a bearing in the case where the chain runs through the engine, if you lose that clutch does nothing...

it disengages now i just smashed the living daylights out of the arm untill it popped back in

The clutch arm will stick if not greased, especially if riding in the wet.
Take it apart and grease it.
