Clutch not working

Ive been trying to smoothen my chain. I opened the drive shaft where the chain connects to the motor. and didnt really do too much with it.

Then when i put it back together the peice that is suppose to go in between the cog to activate the clutch goes all the way in instead of sticking a little bit out so the clutch can be pulled on.

What do you think has happened?

Ive included a pic.

there should be a little ball bearing in there as well
look around on the floor it probably fell out and you didn't notice
it is the same diameter as the pin is thick

your a bloody champion! sure enough there was a little ball bearing on the ground and now its up and going again!

I just had this same problem. Couldn't get the clutch to work. Gotta love MBF, I found the solution in 20 minutes. The bearing was sitting there on the garage floor, plain as day. Thanks guys!
