clutch pin will not go in

why does the clutch pin not go in? and why cant i get the cover back on properly. the nut holding the actualy sprocket on was lose so i took off the clutch over cand the flower nut on the right side and then the pad and tightened both of the nuts and when i went to put the pin in it woulndt go in

Are you sure have the clutch adjusted properly using the flower nut?

The spring the plate then the flower nut and screw right
