If your new to clutch / cables, the angle of the cable, as it enters the stop post is a consideration. Too steep an angle, and the cable binds. When adjusting clutch cable, screw in tensioners, they loosen, not tighten when the cable breaks in. Pull all slack out, and tighten stop. Once adjusted, put a dollop of epoxy glue next to the cable stop bolt. I use a Brake Caliper Pinch Bolt behind the stock [ Brass ] Cable Stop, than cable is cut, and a dollop of epoxy applied to exposed ends
