Clutch

when I try to get my bike started it just makes a grinding and a popping sound. Earlier, it would rev up but not any speed. I can't get it started when I pop the clutch. It rolls easier with the clutch engaged than it did before

might be that clutch is slipping, but my best guess is the a woodruff key failed at one end or the other of that shaft
