Crankshaft Bearings

So the bearings I ordered came in today, the wrong ones were sent. I ordered 2 6202z and 2 6202zz bearings. All four of them are 6202zz, metal shields on both sides. I know normally one side shielded bearings are used for the crank so the oil can lubricate them. The metal shielded ones are used for continuous high rpm applications. So my question is, can I use the double shielded bearings for the crank? If not how do I remove the metal shield?

Thanks!

there should be a tiny clip running around the perimeter of the shield. take that out and the shield will just fall right out.
