installed a new engine, started, then died. after making all the checks, it re started, then died.. next I flooded it trying to start it, changed plug, runs fine now:eek:

after looking at the plug closer, I found out the center electrode was loose, when I looked at it with the thread side up, gap looked good, But when I looked at the plug as installed gap was closed....

lucky the ground strap kept it from falling out.:D I opened the gap, tried to remove the electrode, no luck... In the trash it goes...

man oh man

that could have been the end of a sweet engine

if that thing fell out !!!

makes this guy wonder
how cheaply made are those plugs anyway ???

never seen nothing such as that !!!

It was the plug that came with the kit. Yes, I would have been sad, This is the engine, I just put on the Jag.
First NEW bike, I ever had.
