im doing a build with an 11 hp ktm 50 from martin and slater
all the exhausts i see have these crazy bends. does anybody know where i can get a good wide power band exhaust that pretty much lies flat so i can use it?
thanks

:D

nope. but its pretty easy to make a pipe with "crazy bends" wherever you want... if you can mount a ktm 50 into a pushbike so you dont, erm, die instantly, a pipe should be simple  seeing as i rolled my first one with a hammer and a star stake, its pretty basic :giggle:

No, I need a pipe WITHOUT crazy bends.
I have NO experience with welding
Plus, isn't there a certain level of physics in designing an expansion chamber? Best to adapt an existing pipe to fit no?

theres a certain level of physics in installing an 11hp (only with a pipe, tuned to the correct rpm) motor into anything not specifically designed for it...

learn to weld.

adapting an existing pipe is even harder than starting from scratch.

thinking of the pipe at the moment definitely sounds like a case of carts before horses...

what frame are you using? how, exactly, are you mounting the motor?

fuel tank? air filter? wheels, from hubs and sprockets, to spokes, rims and BRAKES?

theres more to it than duct tape and crossed fingers...sorry :(

ktms usually come fully equipped with wheels n stuff for that exact reason...
