I'm an auto mechanic living in New Hampshire with a penchant for bikes so marrying motors and cycles was like marrying peanut butter and chocolate (or whatever goes good together, beer and cheese, wine and crackers, pork and barbecue sauce - you get the idea.) However, I believed I was alone in this passion. I mean, rationally, there had to be people out there since the engine companies were in business, it just seemed as if feeble machines and public displays never went together. It's good to be here among those who walk in the shadows of only-bikes and only-motors existences. I'll be cruising the forum trying to cobble together the ultimate hard riding, reliable commuting machine to supplant the 48cc I had that is undergoing a full restoration with a few additions (think turbo on a bicycle - that's what you get when you work with motorheads with a sense of adventure and no sense of propriety). Good riding to you all.
