As a supplier of Auxiliary Power Supplies for bicycles and other human powered vehicles...

We realize there are many different styles of FD bicycle engines. We get many calls for assistance, as "FD" friction drive is all we do. A variety of materials are available. Each designed to specialize in function. Wet weather, IE.

Weight, BHP, torque vectors (p factor ), vibration, chatter, tire wear, speed, are reasons that effect functionality.

I see many decent tips on this site already. But humbly offer to fill in the lines as needed.

I do not have enough phone technicians so please do not call. I offer to post here what helps FD systems (we call it arbor drive) work better. I can post decent replies on Tuesdays and Thursdays with regularity.

Keep it Simple Simon ( KISS technology ) and life is good.
