Disc Brakes

I'm looking to add disc brakes to the front...
It's a OCC schwinn chopper

My plan... take some bicycle disc brakes ( probably some Avid BB5's ) and lace a wheel using a mountain bike disc hub.
then, to attach the brake i was going to use a brake adapter that is available from most bike shops and drill two holes into the fork and mount it that way...

I know the wheel and the brakes will be strong enough, but i am not sure of the way i am mounting them.

Any suggestions?

not sure that I have the exact picture going on here
a little concerned regarding the two holes to be drilled into fork
realizing that you have to be able to attach somewhere though

must say -- seems to be a good idea
I enjoy those disc brakes a lot
pads seem to be long lasting also

ride that good breaking MB THING
