Easy Laid Back Seat Post!!!

    Pics of the handlebar stem turned seatpost...

    Here are the pics... I guess I should have followed up on it... pics or it didn't happen, so they say...

    i fabbed my own out of the stock seat post. didnt cost me a dime, i cut a pie shaped wedge out of the material ( like a relief cut) bent bar back until edges touched and welded a bead on the back of it. looks cool, strong, cheap. im 230 and have had this through two builds and about 500 miles.

    Is the vertical post 1" and the horizontal past 7/8.

    Yes, I think so. I remember the one end fit perfectly into the seat tube, but I really had to coax the seat on to the other half... I hope this answers your question.

    I did the same thing on my old BMX bike, but this looks like an easier solution. it looks better than my welds too, but that's here nor there.
