Engine Trouble engine starts but bike doesnt take off

Gas caps

thanks alot man
it was very lean so i adjusted the needle settings
and it doesnt get as hot
it was kinda smoking from the muffler alot
i took it for a spin and it runs alot better
and doesnt seem as hot
and no more smoke
i just need to drill a small hole in the cap to fix the gas issue
every once in a while
i have to unscrew the cap
or the bike will stop
and even my kill switch works!
when you squeeze the clutch it makes a weird sound and stars mis behaving
is that normal?

I was gonna tell you about those caps but it seems you discoverd the problem yourself. Good detective work. Sometimes they don't vent properly and gas flow stops.

its not the gas issue run that bike till its broken in its gonna smoke till you change your gas ratio

Hey this is great advice! I'm sure the poster needed this advice because he couldn't have figure out the problem within the last 5 years... (look at the post date, circa 2011)
