Hello. I am new to the forum and I really need some advice. I have fully installed my new grubee 50cc motor on my 74 schwinn beach cruiser. Everything is hooked up correctly. When I start to ride the bike to get it started, (dropping clutch) the motor just bogs as I pedal. I turn the throttle and it sounds like it wants to start but it just bogs as I ride. Anything can help. I really wanna ride. Thank you very much.

I'll assume that the fuel tap is turned on, etc.
Is the choke possibly on? Down=off, up=on.
I've found that if I turn it over once with the choke on, then turn the choke off and it will start straight away second attempt.
If it still won't go, the first thing to do is check for spark- remove the plug and re-fit it to the HT lead, then lay it on the head, lift the rear wheel and spin it while watching for spark at the plug gap. You might need a helper, if you don't have a stand.
Let us know how you go.
