first electric bike

Hello, here's my first attemt to build something electric. The frame is from "Delta" moped and front fork is a cheap chinese one...
I use 300W 24V motor, 25amp controller and four 17Ah deep cycle batteries which I dont have yet.
The problematic thing about it is the transmission. I have 11 teeth 402 chain front sprocket, so the rear sprocket must be pretty big; the other option is to make two-stage chain transmission, but it's the tricky solution because of the frame's dimensions.

Hey Vax, they had a 80 tooth #25 sprocket on ebay a couple of days ago. might still be there. don't know if this will get you where you want to be ratio wise. Looks like your bike might be a little heavy so you will probably want use the jack-shaft gearing for low end torque.
I just put a 24 Volt on my wifes tricycle but it was a hub motor.
