Gas container from 2-stroke (oil premix) to 4-stroke (just gas)

Hi. I am gonna try out the 4-stroke build. I have a gas container that has 2-stroke gas-oil premix. Can I just drain the container and dry it out and then put regular gas in it? I suspect that even with doing this there will be a little oil left in the container before it gets completely flushed out after 2-3 fills. Will a little oil hurt the 4-stroke HuaSheng engine? THX

That small amount of oil won't hurt anything.

if it makes you feel any better you can put an ounce or two of gas in there and slosh it around. a lot of people add a smidge of oil to their 4 stroke fuel anyway. it sure doesn't hurt.
