Click to expand... The 2L tanks use 5 mm studs. The larger tanks use 6 mm 1.0 which is the same size as most of the fasteners on the motors.

HeadSmess Well-Known Member Local time 3:39 AM Joined May 17, 2010 Messages 3,048 Sep 20, 2014 #6 standard tanks, M5 x 0.8 larger tanks, M6 x 1.0 the chinese may be lax, but they do tend to use ISO standard threads still. if only i had realised lifan uses M7 studs rather than hondas M8 studs back when i was rebuilding a certain engine... oops
