Gas to Oil Mixture quantities.

Hey guys,
another question for you people that arent noobs like me...
with the gas to oil mixture how should i measure it out in gallons of gas?
i know the ratio for the break in is 16:1 so does that mean 16 oz of gas and 1oz of 2 stroke oil?
