Hey,

I am an old fart with dreams of rolling along country roads in Europe, with the usual diversions - beer, sightseeing, beer, museums, beer - you get the idea :)-). Heck, why not dream big?

I am a newbie to the world of MB. Just purchased a used Schwinn Jaguar seven speed. Now working on what motor would be good.

There's lots to do before I get gone. I have already read some excellent threads on relevant topics. Thanks for helping me up to speed.

Welcome to the forum. Don't dream about riding a gas motor bike in Europe. Most of them only allow electric assist on the road.
Your motorbike would blend right into traffic in much of Asia.

Thanks for the tip. The info I had seen must be out of date, so I will look for some more recent stuff about MBing in Europe.

Asia. Hadn't thought of that. If Europe doesn't pan out, my next destination would probably be South America. Know anything about MBing there?

Electric MBs don't have the daily range I am looking for. Maybe in a few years, they will come up with a battery that will extend their range.
