well it has been a long winter here in Canada and i am almost finished my next build. i took my 2010 Globe gas bike and added a 1000 watt rear wheel kit. added the rear rack to hold the battery ran the wires and all went together rather easy. test rode the bike today and i really like it. it is too cool run gas and electric at the same time. also have a NOS shot kit installed. i should have built a electric bike sooner. just need to change the rear rim and should be done, here are some pics

What gauge are the spokes on that rear rim? I'd be worried about the rim warping, especially with all the mods you've done, lol. Will the electric motor start from 0MPH or does it require pedalling? I've been planning to do this same setup, jackshift, spray, mods and all.

Cool. I might add a front hub motor to my China Girl to get more even tire wear.

the wheel that comes with the kit is a double wall rim and reinforced eyelets. so one of the best type of rims you can get. and no pedaling the motor has better pick up then the gas motor, but to be fair the motor is stock with stock pipe. i can say this was a good set-up for me as i was looking for a plug in system that is easy to install. yes electric is a bit pricey but this was my choice in kits. and i did want the big watt kit !!

very nice looking build !!!
gas and electric gives you the best of both worlds...
speed when you want it, and stealth when it is warranted :)
