Greetings from Central/West Michigan

As suggested I am introducing myself.
I'm a 50 something junk collector with an imagination
I have been interested in powering a bicycle to commute to work.
Just found a mostly complete Thruster City Cruiser (china) bike for $20.

Then I realized that I posess a Stihl chainsaw that runs (broke from roadway contact).
So here I am, gathering ideas.
And Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to share their knowlege.

Like the looks/style of the bike but will it be able to handle the engine.
Sounds like a great project. Hope you have plans for some beefed up brakes.

years ago, (many years), I lived in Michigan. Near Detroit. My parents had vacation property in Canadian Lakes. Always remembered what a fine time it was during the summers... We'd head over to some sand dunes. (don't remember where that is now. been away from Michigan so long now).
