My name is Tom from Louisiana. Motorized bikes appear to be super cool ! I am interested in one and have a question.

In Louisiana, a motorized bicycle or moped is a pedal bicycle with a motor rated no more than 1.5 brake horsepower, a cylinder capacity of no more than 50 cubic centimeters, and an automatic transmission that produces no more than 25 mph on a flat surface.

Who sells a MB that fits the above description?

Welcome to MBc, Tom. I would start using our search function. Then read, read and read more. The cc displacement of the engine is pretty much fixed, but there but it is literally uncheckable on the road...same with HP...the MPH is a function of the "idler sprocket on the bike and the final drive sprocket on the gearbox." I can change my top speed from 15 to 42 mph, in about ten minutes by just changing the drive gear on my gear box. [Staton-Inc gearbox, that is."] Call Dave Staton and have a talk with him... I'm sure he will be helpful. If not, I'm sure he will steer you in the prober direction.
