After much thaught and research I decided to go with the starfire gen 2 kit anybody have good luck with theese? advantage of the flange mount carby?

Gen II has a steel lined cylinder for durability. The flange mount carb is the same as the clamp mounted carb, but because of the mounting, the engine will fit in tighter areas without interference from the carb. (the canted spark plug helps too) These will fit in most 24" frames without much hassle at all. Overall, the included hardware kit and construction is a couple of notches above the rest of the "Happy Times" engines.

Oh - the disadvantage to the flange mount carb is that it is more difficult to remove. But it eliminates a spot where some people have experienced air leaks with the clamp-on style.

I have bought two Gen II ENGINES and have had good luck with them. I think they are built a little better then some of the other engines.

many sites say they cant ship to CA. this true? why? where can i get an egine kit
