this is the measurement most people want to know. The SR is a total length of 7 inches. That is 1/2 more then the regular cdi motor.

old style intake on lower ..sr upper. old 16.3mm-SR 13.8mm. Unpleasant surprise, but see next pic

Now this tells another story, intake on the engine side..old style- 15mm SR-19.6..this may induce a ramming effect?doubt it, maybe if mounted backwards. just a comment

upon removal of head, was very surprised and pleased with the combustion chamber. Bad pic of squish but does show threads of sparkplug that should be smoothed out. Next pic shows much better

as can been seen here, old head compared to new SR one. Its a very big improvement, I will cc both of them tomorrow.

be very careful on head gasket, Deck height is only negative .006
that's it for tonight guys, some notes though. Casting is fairly good, Note it does now have a steel sleeve as some venders may have you believe. Will be back to post once I measure the ports, exhaust, intake and transfer.
