Hello,

This is my first build of a motored bike or any bike for that matter. I am trying to purchase the Sick Bike Parts shift kit found here:

http://www.sickbikeparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=110

Does anyone know the correct Down Tube Width and Seat Tube Diameter?

http://www.grubeeinc.com/BIKES & FRAMES.htm

Also how do I know if I got the single speed frame or the multispeed frame?

http://www.gasbike.net/skyhawk-gt2a-bike-frame.html

Parts List:

VUELTA ZEROLITE MTB PRO 26" Wheelset Black Alloy Mountain Bike Wheels
Shimano Acera Mountain Bicycle V-Brake Front + Rear Pair Set FOR TWO WHEELS BR-M422

SR Suntour XCM Suspension Fork 26", 1 1/8" 255mm threadless steerer, 100mm
FSA Hammer Headset

Shimano RD-M360 Acera SGS Rear Derailleur, Silver
Shimano Tourney 7Spd 14-28T Freewheel
Shimano Acera SL-M310 Rapid Fire Shifter, Right (Black, 7-Speed)

Do these parts look ok?

Your help is appreciated.

I believe that frame requires a 27.5mm seatpost and a 31.8mm seatpost clamp, but don't hold me to it. I do all my thinking in inches but everything is sold in millimeters so I get mixed up sometimes.

The frame in the picture is a single speed frame but who knows which one you'll actually get. there's nothing wrong with putting single speed parts in a multi speed frame though. If you want gears an internally geared hub is the better choice anyway

If you deal with Gasbikes, Kings, or Zone 8 (all the same company) you WILL GET SCREWED...read their reviews if you don't believe me...

I bought the same frame from gasbike, and maybe a few other things. Had no problems. I am very confident that they will provide the frame they sell you. It is bare bones, but sturdy. You'll have to figure out how you want to paint/ finish it and rig up your headset/ front fork.

I am very happy with this frame!

I got my frame from GasBike and it arrived early.
I'm in the same vote here and will be following this thread.
The GasBike site says it will work with the wider multi geared wheel.
I'm going with the mags.
