Handlebar mount for high-powered flashlights

I was tooling around on dealextreme a few weeks ago looking at all the neat random stuff they offer when I came upon this:

It works perfectly with my Element K2 flashlights I picked up from sam's club. Not to say that the pipe clamps I've been using are inadequate in any way but these look much nicer and allow for quick and precise adjustment. They seem more than adequate in quality for their price.

For around $35 anybody can have reliable high powered dual headlights that bike vendors would sell for $300 or more. It's advertised that one LuxeonK2 throws about 150 lumens and projects a beam 300 feet. Nasty. I'm tempted to get a pair of flashlights that use the SSC p7 900 lumen LED but that may be overkill.

I just bought http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.21314 haven't tested it yet.

I have a couple http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15342 on one of my bikes. I had to improve this a bit with some super glue to keep the parts together.

I have a feeling that the cheaper one may work out better in the long run. It is much more flexible in what size flashlights I can use.

The ones I got can't hold very large flashlights. I think it says 3-4cm dia. But they're really well made for the price and they fit my preferred flashlights perfectly. Of course time will tell if the plastic will degrade quickly or not.
